About Us
Getdowns T-Shirts is a family business. As parents of a child with Down Syndrome, we wanted to provide catchy and humorous attire for children with Down Syndrome, their families and loved ones. We created original t-shirt designs to display their amazing abilities and promote awareness.
Our family has continued to grow over the years, through knowledge about Down Syndrome from the National Down Syndrome Society (NDSS) and from support of local groups such as, The Greater Richmond Down Syndrome Association and the ARC of Richmond. Getdowns T-shirts strives to support these types of organizations so that families will continue to have access to the information and support that is needed when raising a child with special needs.
